Magic Quality Time for Families

Apex Resort has a reputation of being a mountain for well-seasoned skiers and snowboarders. While that’s certainly true, Apex also provides a great winter holiday experience for the entire family. We offer lessons with certified instructors and quality equipment rentals to ensure that every member of the family is enjoying their time on and off the slopes. Lots of varied terrain awaits; several novice green runs such as Whipsaw and plenty of intermediate blues like Juniper. Once off the slopes, a variety of fun activities await such as:

Apex Adventure Skating

Everyone loves lacing up the skates and gliding through the forest on the Adventure Skating Loop. This 1 km track is maintained to a sparkle shine by our Zamboni. Also lit for nighttime skating, the Loop is a short walk from the Village, the Rink and the Tube Park.

Snowshoe Escapades

The combination of pristine air and gentle exercise make snowshoeing one of the fastest-growing winter activities in Canada. The surrounding trails at Apex will surprise you with epic views and as much crisp, clean mountain air as you can handle!

Don’t have your own snowshoes? Not a problem, just visit our Rental Shop, open from 8.30am until 3.30pm Sunday-Thursday and until 9.00pm Friday and Saturday.
