Adventure Skating Loop

The Skating Loop at Apex Resort is a winter wonderland adventure. Enjoy gliding through the forest on this 1 km loop, maintained to a sparkle, smooth shined by the Apex Zamboni. The experience at night is nothing short of magic, as the lights come on and the winter landscape unfolds around you. The Skating Loop is also a great place to host a group event, birthday or family celebrations.

Hours of Operation:

Adventure Skating Loop: 9am to 10pm daily!

Please note that our rental shop closes at 3:30pm, so if you wish to rent skates, you need to come before then.

Cost: Daily Skate ticket is $5 + GST or Purchase Skate Ticket + Rentals for $17 + GST/PST

Adventure skating loop is maintained and cleared everyday. Weather conditions permitting

Whether you bring your own skates or rent them at the Apex Rental Shop, slip into your skates at the nearby cabin, make your way to the ice and prepare to let the magic of the Adventure Skating Loop envelop you. It’s about you, the maybe a light snow is falling, or maybe is a perfect starlit night. The silence of the forest imparts that winter quiet that only happens in a snowy landscape. Simply perfect. This is winter immersion, Apex style!
