Apex Hockey Rink

Please note that our hockey rink will no longer be available for private bookings or rentals from the 2023/2024 season on-wards. Call our office at 250 292 8222 if you have any questions. 

What could be better than a gliding around an outdoor night-lit skating rink, surrounded by snowy forests and ski runs? Maybe it’s snowing just a little, maybe it’s a beautiful clear night. The sound you hear is your blades against the ice, maybe a hockey stick making contact with the puck. Or perhaps, it’s just the sound of the forest at night. Maybe it’s “Family Night?” Why not pack up the kids and a few friends for a great alternative to road hockey, or is it high school friends with hockey sticks enjoying an after work get-together for a pick-up hockey game, and then hit the Gunbarrel Saloon for some quality aprés-hockey time.

Whatever the rink is to you, it all happens in a beautiful, wintery landscape. It’s yours to create and it will be awesome on our NHL-sized, Zamboni-serviced outdoor skating rink.

It’s the perfect spot for a hockey game amongst friends, night or day. The rink is fully-lit in the evenings, creating a unique outdoor experience. Arrange a pick-up game with your friends, or come on up for a family night event.

The hockey rink is maintained and cleared everyday. Weather conditions permitting.

Please note that our rental shop do have skate rentals and are open Sunday thru Thursday 8:30am – 4:00pm, along with Friday and Saturday 8:30am – 9:00pm.

The Ice hockey rink is now closed for the season. (As of March 16, 2023)
