We here at Apex Mountain Resort are in full stride getting the mountain ready for opening day, scheduled for Saturday December 10th 2016! We have had to extend our opening date by one week until Dec. 10th due to low snow levels on the bottom of the mountain.
This year is predicted to be even better than as last year, with La Nina bringing in the snow! We had a few big early snow falls in October & early November, and snow making is scheduled to start next week, weather permitting.

We’ve got a new Mountain Shop manager, Rob ‘Boots’ Ludwig, who is bringing in some great new product that is sure to be on trend for this season!
The Rock Oven Grill will be operating as an event space this year, more information to come.
Apex’s most popular events including Brewski and Verticals & Vintages are all scheduled for the season! We are adding more to our line up, including a pre-season Village Party, so stay tuned!
Ski School – CASI & CSIA instructor courses are scheduled for this year. The first CASI Level 1 Instructors course takes place December 9th to 11th & is open to anyone aged 15 & up. This course provides 2 high school credits & an amazing opportunity to work towards becoming a snowboard instructor at Apex! Email snowschool@apexresort.com for more information.
The Group Lodge is scheduled to open in January 2017 with new suites available. Booking will be available through Apex Mountain Lodging.
Apex is offering new Ski & Stay packages in connection with Stay at Apex (cabins & condos located on the hill) & hotels located in Penticton, including the Ramada, the Best Western, the Lakeside, the Coast Hotel, Tiki Shores, and more. Stay tuned for updates.
